Attitude

We want motivated, enthusiastic individuals who have a desire to serve God. Good manners, respect for authority, and a longing to glorify Jesus Christ in even the most humble of tasks is required. We are looking for people who demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit of God (Galatians 5:22-25) in every aspect of their lives.

Our Philosophy

We believe that the best witness of Christ to a lost and rebellious world is the simple desire to demonstrate His great love in every action, word, and deed (Hebrews 12:1). When someone is a true child of God, their desire is to serve Him in any manner He chooses. The Lord cannot use those who are unyielding and rebellious, and neither can we. When a believer really loves Jesus, it makes no difference whether they are asked to perform some technical, highly skilled task or just hang a poster in their church. The willingness to serve, whatever the need may be, is the most effective way of saying to others, “My heart is a dwelling place of God.” As Jesus said, “...the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many” (Matthew 20:28 NIV).

Location and Basic Requirements and Restrictions

Due to our April 28th, 2001 move and downsizing, we have temporarily suspended the use of unpaid volunteers and interns to work at our headquarters in Baldwin. However, if you would like to send us a resume of your qualifications and a letter telling us why you would like to volunteer for our ministry, we will keep it on file for future reference. A photo would also be helpful, but is not required. In the meantime, we are able to use volunteers to help us wherever they are located.

Volunteers

The use of volunteers will depend upon the needs of the ministry at any specific time. Presently, we need people to:

Email friends or associates about us. Word of mouth is one of the best ways for people to find out about us and possibly support us financially.
Put up our posters (in English or Spanish) where permitted. This is also a great way of notifying people about the work we do.
Donate Bibles and New Testaments to our ministry for prison distribution. Most prisons require soft cover, but some will even allow used hard covered ones.
