Photo Album of Prison Inmates and Chaplains

The following photos have been submitted to Bible Believers Fellowship, Inc. over the last few years by chaplains or inmates in the prisons in which we minister. We provide them purely for the interest and edification of our viewers, and make no claim as to the current physical or spiritual condition of the various people in the pictures. The more recent photos were sent to us primarily for fundraising purposes. As some of them are several years old, it is possible that the individuals have been transferred to other correctional facilities. Some of the inmates may even have been released by now. Nevertheless, we hope that you will keep them in your prayers.

He has been a pastor since the age of 19 and has preached in quite a few states in the South. Dr. Gayle Dean, Jr. regularly receives "The Good News Letter" for prison distribution and Bible Believers Fellowship, Inc. has also donated many other items to his ministry for youth offenders. Photo of Tom Wilmas from Moberly Correctional Center in Missouri. Photo of prison inmate Tom Wilmas. Tom sent us this picture from Moberly Correctional Center, Moberly, Missouri. It is rare for prisoners to contribute any money to charity, but, aside from his testimony and testimonial, Tom has donated $90 to this ministry in order to help us with our work of getting out the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That is more than has been donated by any other inmate! Tom regularly receives "The Good News Letter" and its Spanish language version, "La Carta De Buenas Nuevas." He has told us that our Spanish newsletter is helping him to learn the Spanish language and to minister to Latino inmates who do not speak English. Photo of Dennis Van Lee when he was at the Huron Valley Men's Facility in Michigan. Photo of prison inmate Dennis Van Lee. Dennis first wrote to us on October 17, 1994 from the Huron Valley Men's Facility in Ypsilanti, Michigan. He had just finished reading "The Good News Letter." Dennis stated, "As I continued to read the newsletter I began to experience that it was saturated with the love and Spirit of Christ. It was more than a newsletter. It was everything that's alive in me now, and all that I know and believe will be alive in me as my life continues." Dennis has written us so many letters since then that we have a large separate file for him in our office. He also donated more than $25 to the work of this ministry. Dennis was recently transferred to the Riverside Correctional Facility in Michigan, where he continues to receive our material. To go directly to Dennis' testimonial, click here.

Photo of inmate Michael Sellers at the Federal Correctional Institution in Lompoc, California. Inmate Michael Sellers sent us this snapshot of himself in March 1998. He indicated that he hopes that it will help us with our fundraising. He is at the Federal Correctional Institution in Lompoc, California. This institution was the second correctional facility to ever receive literature from this ministry. Over the years, Bible Believers Fellowship, Inc. has donated to it a great deal of Christian material. Michael is holding the Jan./Feb. 1998 issue of "The Good News Letter," which this facility has been receiving since 1989. Along with the photo, Michael included his testimonial and an enthusiastic letter telling us about the good work that God is doing at the Federal Correctional Institution in Lompoc. We are glad to be a part of it! To go directly to Michael's testimonial, click here.
